Microsoft SharePoint
Connect SharePoint to attach files from your firm's SharePoint sites when you generate a document or ask Templi a question, without downloading and uploading them first. Templi only reads a file when you attach it, and saves a file to SharePoint only after you approve the file name and folder.
Where to find it
Click Connectors in the sidebar and open Microsoft SharePoint, or go to https://app.templi.ai/integrations/apps/sharepoint. Every connector is listed in Connectors.
What it does
Browse the SharePoint sites and document libraries you can already see, or search by name, from the attach files dialog in Templi.
Attach a fact find, illustration, factsheet or any other file as a source for a document or a chat.
Files stay in SharePoint. Templi keeps the attachment for the document it was used in.
Connect
Each person connects with their own Microsoft account, and sees only what that account can see in SharePoint.
In Templi, click Connectors in the sidebar, open Microsoft SharePoint and click Connect.
Review what the app will be able to do and click Authorise and connect.
Sign in to your Microsoft account in the tab that opens and allow access to your files.
Ask Templi
Ask Templi to save a finished document to SharePoint. You approve the file name and folder before anything is written, and you can change either. For example:
Save Sarah Winters' suitability report to the Clients folder on our SharePoint.
Summary
SharePoint connects so you can attach files from the sites and libraries you can already see, and save finished documents back once you approve them. Each person connects with their own Microsoft account and sees only what that account can see.
